The Spookiest Things Hiding in Your Home

Trick or Treat! With Halloween on its way, the scary movies are being dusted off and decorations are going up. While getting ready for the festivities, you might think there's nothing that can scare you this time of year. Think again! There are countless things hiding in your home. We'll take care of the carpet, but in the meantime we're naming off the top items in your home you should keep an eye on!

TV Remote

Did you know, your TV Remote is one of the dirtiest things you own? It contains countless bacteria. You may want to think twice the next time someone offers you popcorn during your next scary movie marathon!

Bed Mattress

If your mattress hasn't been cleaned in a while, you'll want to pay attention. Mattresses can be magnets for dead skin cells and dust mites! This can leave you vulnerable to asthma or hay fever. So if it's been a while since your last mattress cleaning, take action quickly! And if you need some help, give us a call!

Refrigerators

Ever heard of E. Coli before? That's one of the scary bacteria you may see lurking in your fridge! No one wants to deal with nausea or stomach cramps, so make sure you routinely clean that fridge of yours! We suggest separating cooked and raw meat, and always keeping it cold!

Keyboards

Isn't it ironic that the very thing you typed on to get to this site is dirtier than your toilet seat? Keyboards are one of those things we one and use frequently that also become neglected. We clean the carpet (obviously), the counters, the mirrors and many other things in the home, but people don't typically think of getting around to the keyboard! It's definitely something you'll want to add to the schedule!

Cell Phone

Whether it's making a call, checking email, or reading this article, it's obvious that our cell phones get a lot of use. Just like keyboards, we don't think to clean them!

With these simple reminders and tips, you should be protected from some of the bacteria lurking in the home.
